My family owns land at Chautauqua, 15 Center and 31 Foster. All of my summers since birth were spent there.

All of my summers have been spent there too! Due to time and travel constraints, it's only one week (6) for me this year. Go Brazil! ;-)

Really. Where do you stay there. May family has been going there since 1878.

We don't have a permanent place there, as no one lives in the area any longer. My Great-Grandparents started going when my Grandmother was little; late 1920s - early 1930s. This year we'll be in the condos over by Elm gate. My daughter isn't thrilled about the distance to Club, but it'll give her an excuse to stop at the Refectory (or whatever they renamed it now) for an ice cream.

I'll have to get some of my pictures up in the Gallery.

We have family houses on Wiley Avenue, Center Avenue and Foster Avenue. I used to go to club for years. My sister and I still have our CBC/CGC badges. Yes I love that place. But I live so far south now that it takes about 10 hours to get there.

Beautiful little resort village. Must be nice in summer, but, hey, even now, with fall colors, certainly beautiful...

Nice place in the summer. Took an afternoon there once and grabbed some great photos.

I actually worked at the Chautauqua Institution last summer and lived in the area for about 4 years. You really captured the feel of the area and I probably worked near or at that particular house. Very nice!

I actually sold a larger oil painting version of it many years ago, so the small one was just a sketch for something bigger...Thanks!
