Finished front elevation sketches for Group Four Buildings include the removal of a small number two storefront from between the others, which I will place into another group. I extended the first building to the left to create a larger building, a pretty traditional looking town building that has an angled plan. See gallery for ground plan of complete town center plaza and other storefront groupings.
Technique: As always, drawn completely by hand with 2H and 4H pencils in scale 1/16" = one foot, scanned, darkened a bit, cleaned up, and labeled on the computer.
I would love to be smart enough to study architecture, heh. I just settle for drawing them though. Sometimes. Badly. I really quite like architectural drawings such as yours.
It's Group seven, going around the corner from this one, and it has the old number four from group one next to it, similar height, looking good, then a third one at the end with a small corner tower, facing out onto the "Lavendar Plaza, just roughly sketched now, a small plaza with lavender them maybe, and something special. HMMMM what can tie in with lavender?
I'll be posting one big sheet with Groups 1 through 9 tomorrow sometime, lots of new stuff on there, good way to see it all "together." I would appreciate your insight sir, after I post it...
(Will also work on my grammar.) ^^
Maybe someday I'll quit sucking so much. ^_^
Oh... See my suggestions on the city plan for planters and such.. (I know, easy out answer)
