Further adventures of House 323, WIP, a classic American Bungalow home with updated features and modern floor plan, all floor plans, elevations, and cross sections drawn by hand on tracing paper over grid paper, at scale 1/16th inch= one foot, perspective drawing drawn from imagination, no computer modeling, all design work, illustration, and light beam and truss engineering by me. I'm trying a slightly new format for presentation with lightly colored backgrounds. Other side elevation, rear elevation, roof plan, etc coming later, keep watching. Note: rear of house not shown yet in perspective drawing... Enjoy!

I think this house is just brilliant, maybe because of the way the design looks like it could be a framed picture.
If I received this as the design specs for my home, I would definitely frame it and hang it up as a reminder.
It's just stunning and the details with all the measurements and how each room is laid out. Just lovely.

Thanks! I've had a couple requests for this as a print, actually...

Thanks! I appreciate the exposure and thoughts. I agree about the inconsistent colors of the scans. I cobbled it together one day and let it fly. I had NO IDEA it would become my most viewed piece of all time. I really should clean it up and improve it. I was really wanting to fix up a few things in the plan too, not satisfied with the open vaulted ceiling design. Speaking of game designs and virtual architecture, I just posted the entire town center for a virtual town design. (See The Clove Town Center.) The idea for virtual architecture DOES work!

I'm glad what I do is helping; feel free to share that site with anyone interested, the more exposure for everyone the better. I'd love to see it cleaned up, as I'm sure tons of people would based on its popularity. I just looked over you Town Center design, it's gorgeous! I love the changes in elevation; it's a tricky thing to manage and really shows your skill. I can't wait for the day your designs make it into games. It will really elevate their quality :D

I'm very busy beginning this year, possible large projects, so I have to find some time to fix that one up. The front of that house is one of my best ever. I drew it 5 yrs ago I believe. I would like to build this some day.
