Good question. It's "Trinigan." I use it under the GIMP program. Do you know how to set these up? I'm no expert and I've had problems, especially with the paint program, which I use sometimes for simple stuff. Also, Google "arts and crafts fonts", there are plenty more similar...

Great Stuff as usual. :) which do you do first. perspective as a concept then work out the plans. or the other way round?

Good question. It depends. This one started as a colored front elevation sketch in a journal at roughly 1/16inch = one foot scale. I tried one floorplan, altered the elevation a bit and re-drew it, re-drew the floorplan, and added cross sections (not shown yet) and all elevations. I recently did a beam schedule. I'm now sizing beams for specific loads on many houses. Also, floor joists are planned, foundation is being drawn, etc. Everything is getting more specific. Sometimes I start with a 3D perspective sketch.

thanks for the insight. I did a bit of tech drawing at school. but that was an awfully long time ago lol :)
