An English cottage-inspired home idea, this one features eccentric styling, red brick with stucco, stone, and half-timbered accents, a massive chimney, multi-colored barrel tile roof, and an unusual L-shaped main floor. Design lends itself to a fairly large basement level with possible basement garage under the master suite, accessed behind the house from the right. Second floor most likely a small bedroom with closet and bath, possible bonus space over master ste., and vaulted ceilings on the right.
Construction details include an elaborate heavy timber frame with mortise and tenon joinery, tied to standard 2x6 wood stud framing, and an optional "insulated" masonry cellular concrete block lower section, AAC, aerated autoclaved concrete. Plan has a beam and truss schedule started, illustration shows layout of timber frame.
