House in Charleston, SC

A Charleston sideyard house, very old but well-preserved, in a beautiful American city, coast of South Carolina. For any architectural purists out there, it's a unique type of house, usually built with two or three story side porches, always facing towards the prevailing breeze from the south or southwest, built before air-conditioning in a hot humid place. Charleston gardens are also famous.

This watercolor was used as the basis for a novel cover written by a guy local to me in Greenville, South Carolina.
