Description
Front view of House #345, used as a tutorial/how-to description of classic storybook style. Critical elements to "getting it right" are: small scale of home, "low" roof eave lines with most of main roof eaves built to the top of the first floor walls, with some tricks up front to get them even lower, creating "flared" roofline or "catslide" roofs on either side, asymmetric, eccentric overall composition, yet highly balanced and eye-pleasing, rustic materials over refined, contrast creamy-white stucco with large-scaled rustic stone work at foundation and buttresses, heavy timber wood structure with arts and crafts inspired heavy brackets at corners and "true" mortise and tenon joinery, odd window types and styles, "cottage" shutters, prominent chimney, and a few of my own personal design elements.

I really liked it! I love these old wooden houses, I bought myself a small castle so to speak, which is made of wood. All the furniture I took to order from https://maxiwoods.com/, they are completely made by the hands of a master. Are there people who love woodwork as much as I do? = ))
