That is PRECISELY what I'm up to! I've actually drawn aerial views of a couple of villages, including an anglo-tudor one and an Italian/Southern French hill town. It takes a life time to design all the buildings!

Yes, but not always the best stuff. Budgets get in the way, builders cheapen the product, etc. I really want to get a large number of houses all in one place built together, done my way, no compromise. That hasn't happened yet.
