Unusual House in Staunton, Virginia by Built4ever Unusual House in Staunton, Virginia by Built4ever
A sketchbook page that has been cleaned up and re-arranged a bit, very small drawings, page is about 6" x 8", subject is a large house in a small town called Staunton Virginia in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, very unusual for this town, the only brownstone in the area, looks like it belongs in New York City. Style has elements of Romanesque, but it also has Gothic arched windows. I like the entry way with stairs winding their way into the heart of the house.
