Are you going to screen in the porch?

It's up to client, he didn't finish all the decks yet, but I think the plan was outdoor dining gets screens, yes.  Absolutely NOT the front porch. Never.

The other day, while building a house foundation, the front of that house had 37 corners. Your house 323 looks amazing but looks like a nightmare to put together.

Not that bad for foundation, but no brick for you, mister brick mason, all concrete, block, 2x6 wall/hardiboard. My other homes going up now have substantial brick, including an all brick bungalow style and, about to start now, a huge Medit. all limewash white brick. Let me ask you a question, joker: I'm insisting to her NOT to put cheap brick and paint white, but she is leaning that way. Lots of articles say it's a bad move. I rather use expensive white limewashed brick. What say you?

Rest of framing on this one, YES, absolutely, very challenging, lots of tough stuff in ceilings, vaulted ceiling over second floor bedroom, and a special room over the great room. Framers did very nice job though.

On the Medit. home we are about to start, indeed, I took OUT one corner in the rear that was unnecessary complication, trying to create a picturesque roofscape but not overcomplicate for no reason, tricky.

a lovely exterior and an interesting interior. I really like the glass top cabinets in the kitchen, did you have a hand in even doing those details?

Yes, the interior "shape" of course, windows, stairs, fireplace and built-ins, but not so much kitchen cabinets exactly, I just lay out the kitchen plan.

The interiors look almost 100% like the inside of my friend's new house. And the sketch of the outside is so good, like how do you maintain enough ideas to not make it look like a generic four walls of plain windows and doors? That's always hard for me, figuring out how to make the building look more organic and not just a bunch of big cubes with stuff added to it.

Nice work, all of it, I am considering turning to your stuff for architecture references anytime I'm looking to draw something similar.

Look at old houses, collect pictures, draw or trace them, re-draw them and change them a bit, make them better, then sketch "front elevations" 12 to a page, pick the best, draw as perspective sketch, THEN sell the idea and develop it as a plan, Takes years and years of practice.

Love it! +1 on the tall upper kitchen cabinets. I did this in my house. Nothing as nice as this but I like how it changes the room.

Yup, so busy I might need help soon. Can't handle it. Got several more coming on board, one today, just now. I had a close call up there in Tenn, but it fell thru. I'm drawing a pipe organ for a top secret project.
